Mix mint and sugar — the result will surprise you

Preparation
First, preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F).
Then, in a large bowl, mix the mint leaves with the sugar and stir.
Next, add the egg and the soft butter, and continue mixing until everything is well combined.
Now, add the flour and baking powder and stir until a smooth dough forms.
Then, add the chocolate chips and mix well.
After that, shape small balls from the dough and place them on a baking sheet greased with oil.
Now, gently press each ball flat with the palm of your hand and sprinkle some extra chocolate chips on top.
Then, bake in the preheated oven for about 15 minutes or until they are golden brown.
Remove from the oven and let cool before serving.
Enjoy this unique way to surprise your family!

Our TIPS:

Keep ingredients cold: To help the cookies hold their shape while baking, it’s important that the butter and egg are cold when you start mixing.

Don’t overmix the dough: Mix the dry and wet ingredients just until combined. Overmixing can make the cookies tough instead of soft and tender.

Use an ice cream scoop: To make sure all cookies are the same size and bake evenly, use an ice cream scoop to form the dough balls.

Leave enough space: When placing the dough balls on the baking sheet, leave enough room between them so they can spread during baking.

Let them cool completely: Cookies are delicate right after coming out of the oven. Let them rest a few minutes on the baking sheet before transferring to a wire rack to cool fully.
