Collagen Oil

Cloves

Cloves contain:

  • Eugenol (a natural aromatic compound)
  • Antioxidants
  • Essential oils

They have traditionally been used in skin care preparations, but they should be used cautiously because they can irritate sensitive skin.

Baby Oil or Carrier Oil

The oil helps:

  • Lock in moisture
  • Reduce dryness
  • Leave skin feeling soft and smooth

Turmeric (Optional)

Turmeric contains curcumin, a plant compound with antioxidant properties. It may temporarily stain light-colored fabrics and skin if used in excess.

Step 1: Prepare the Cloves

Lightly crush the whole cloves using the back of a spoon to help release their natural oils.

Step 2: Combine the Ingredients

Place the cloves into a clean glass jar.

Pour the oil over the cloves until they are completely covered.

If using turmeric, stir in a small amount.

Step 3: Infuse

Seal the jar tightly.

Store it in a cool, dark place for 7–14 days, shaking gently once each day.

Step 4: Strain

Pour the oil through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth into a clean bottle.

Discard the cloves.

Step 5: Apply

After showering, while your skin is still slightly damp:

  • Massage a small amount onto your arms, legs, hands, or body.
  • Avoid the eyes, lips, and broken skin.

Use 2–3 times per week or as needed.
