Boil the Broth
In a large pot, bring chicken broth to a boil over medium heat.
Cook the Potatoes
Add the diced potatoes to the boiling broth. Cook for 5–7 minutes until they begin to soften but aren’t fully cooked.
Add the Green Beans
Stir in the green beans (fresh, frozen, or canned) and continue cooking for another 5–7 minutes, until tender.
Add the Sausage
Once the potatoes are halfway done and the green beans are tender, add the sliced Polish sausage. Simmer for 5–10 minutes until the potatoes are fully cooked and the sausage is heated through.
Season and Serve
Taste the broth and season with salt and pepper as needed. Serve hot and enjoy this hearty, comforting dish.
