10 common hygiene mistakes we all make

We all have that reassuring feeling: “I’m careful about my hygiene, so everything’s fine.” And yet… without realizing it, we sometimes adopt daily habits that go against our well-being. Nothing dramatic, don’t worry, but these small, repeated mistakes can lead to discomfort, odors, or irritations. The good news?   1. Washing your hands too quickly

Wetting your hands for a few seconds is not enough. Effective washing requires time and the right technique.

The right reflex:  soap + water for at least 20 seconds, not forgetting the nails, the spaces between the fingers, or the backs of the hands.

  1. Keeping your bath sponge for too long

Sponges retain moisture and quickly become a favorable environment for the growth of bacteria.
